These cookies are interchangeable with any citrus you\u2019d like to use. One of my all-time faves is Navel oranges and cutie mandarins. I also love the addition of raspberries or strawberries for a fun topping option.<\/p>\n
Unlike my other lemon zinger recipe, this recipe is a bit too soft to make filled cookies with. If you do attempt filling them, make sure to use some cornstarch to ensure it doesn\u2019t make the cookie soggy and fall apart.<\/p>\n
I recommend trying the recipe as intended at least once before making adjustments, so that you can see and feel how they are before adding more wet things.<\/p>\n
